Supporting our kupuna

Monthly we host a lunch for people over the age of 65 at our multi-purpose building on the Keaau Campus.

Young Life Camp

Every Summer Young Life Hawaii takes a group of high school students to camps across the United States. This last June, students from the Big Island went to Woodleaf Camp in northern California. Another camp was held on the North Shore of Oahu. These camps provide young people the opportunity to engage with different cultures and learn about themselves in a safe and fun environment.

Puna Coventant Church and The Core Youth partner with the Hawaii Police Department, schools, and other local organizations like the WM Shipman Corporation and Thrivent Insurance Group to purchase and deliver schools supplies and backpacks to students and schools who have need.

Puna Covenant Bazaar and Garage Sale

Every year,  Puna Covenant Church supports our Puna community through donations and money raised from our Bazaar or Garage Sale. The Bazaar provides us with the capacity to support emergency needs that families or individuals may face in Puna.  The Garage Sale supports our youth in providing them the opportunity to serve their community and also raise financial support to annual camps and other events held on or off island. It can be very discouraging for people in our community to know how to survive or get by one more day when emergency happens. Puna Covenant's mission includes being Jesus to those who are in need.

Being a Good neighbor

Puna Covenant Church has members all over East Hawaii who live next to you. We exist to be a good neighbor to you. Because we live near you, we are able to support you at anytime and rejoice with you in wonderful moments. Let us know how we can help you or your community. Puna Coventant Church and The Core Youth have worked with the Hawaii Police Department, schools, and other local organizations like the WM Shipman Corporation and Thrivent Insurance Group to purchase and deliver schools supplies and backpacks to students and schools who have need.
